The importance of Men gathering as a force for good cannot be emphasized enough. Our purpose is to provide a sacred container in community through traditional Slavic sweat.
The experience consists of high temperature steam by wood burning stove, water and hot rocks. During the sweat we serve a special blend tea to acclimate the body to the environment. Essential oils are doused on the rocks to introduce aromatherapy and veniks bundles’ of leaves and branches consisting or oak, birch maple or eucalyptus) are used to move the hot air around with gentle massage to the skin for exfoliation with multiple health benefits. The sweat is followed by a cold plunge to shock the system regulating blood flow and nervous system.

The Banya experience promotes connection by comradery within social circles in community. A place to be present and vulnerable with one another outside of society's day to day expectations. Refreshments and networking will follow.

Danny Floyd Cole

Danny is a full-time touring musician/singer-songwriter. In 2023 he logged over 150 live performances in western Canada. He supports his three children and demonstrates to the world that living one’s dreams is possible. His debut solo record, Dream Your Destiny, garnered him a WCMA nomination in 2022, he then released another single in 2023 and continues to record and work on new material for his sophomore solo effort.
He brings a heartfelt performance to every stage with over two decades of performing original music in Alberta, and abroad. Bandleader, producer/engineer, frontman & accompanist; this foundation supports his continual development as an artist.
Danny began performing in clubs when he was sixteen years old, was hired at Homestead Recorders when he was twenty and continued recording, producing and performing in bands his entire life. Today, he still loves to entertain, touring traditional live music venues and also offering music therapy for clients with special needs, seniors and those in recovery from addiction.
From music, martial arts, family and nature, Danny's passion for life is multifaceted and that is evident in his approach to songwriting and in the way he walks a spiritual path, dedicated to be in service to others.
